EMIS Access

EMIS Access is an online service offered by the clinical computer system EMIS to allow patients to perform certain tasks online. The system links into the practice clinical system and allows the patient, once they have registered for the service to Book appointments online, request repeat prescriptions, alter contact details, without having to ring or call into the practice.

Registering for EMIS Access

First of all you must register to use the Internet prescription ordering facility. Ask the receptionist, for a registration form, which provides the information you need to register to use the Internet facility.

New Patient Registration

Please download and complete the GMS1 Form/ Additional Form to register with the practice.

Services available:

Repeat Prescriptions 
Patients who receive regular prescriptions from the Practice can request a repeat prescription from the practice by logging onto NHSAPP and ticking which drugs are required. The Dr then either accepts or declines the request and the patient is notified.

Updating your Personal or Contact Details

It’s important that you keep us informed of any changes to your contact details, address or personal details. Examples of this are;

If you don't inform of any changes to your details at the earliest opportunity there is a risk that you will miss important information about your care such as hospital appointments or test results, or that information about you may be received by someone else.

The quickest and easiest way to update your details is to email us at gp.pgfpn82089@nhs.net making sure include;

If you believe we have your Date of Birth recorded incorrectly please provide evidence of your correct date of birth and we can change this for you
